Arrive for a downtown evening, spend one full day along Pisgah's US 276 corridor, give DuPont a separate hiking or riding day, and keep departure morning close to town.

This four-day sequence keeps Looking Glass and Moore Cove on the Pisgah day, Triple and High Falls on the DuPont day, and downtown Brevard for arrival and evenings.

Use the first full day for Looking Glass Falls, Moore Cove, and the Cradle of Forestry along US 276.

Keep each forest on its own day and choose DuPont hiking or riding according to trail conditions and the group's skills.

Arrival

Check in, walk downtown, and settle into the Blue Ridge evening.

Keep arrival close to Brevard's center rather than beginning with a dark forest road.

4:00 PM

Day 2

Follow US 276 through Pisgah for waterfalls and forest history.

Start at Looking Glass Falls when legal parking is available, then choose Moore Cove or the Cradle of Forestry before returning to Brevard.

4:30 PM

Afternoon

Return to Brevard after the Pisgah corridor.

Leave US 276 before darkness or a forecast storm makes the curving forest road harder to read.

Day 3

Spend the second full day in DuPont.

Walk from the High Falls or Hooker Falls access area toward Triple Falls and High Falls, or choose a skill-matched bicycle loop away from the busiest waterfall approaches.

9:00 AM

DuPont day

Choose the waterfall corridor or one bicycle loop.

Triple Falls and High Falls make a substantial walking outing. Riders can instead use DuPont's forest roads and trails, with route difficulty matched to the least experienced rider. Check the forest closure page before leaving Brevard; the Triple Falls stairs and Turkey Knob bridge are currently closed.

Review parking, walking distance, wet-rock safety, and current official notices.

4:30 PM

Afternoon

Return through Cedar Mountain after the DuPont waterfall walk or bicycle loop.

Do not add Rainbow Falls or the US 276 waterfalls to the same day. Those approaches belong to different public-land corridors.

Departure

Keep departure morning close to Brevard.

Choose a short downtown walk, Bracken Mountain, or the Brevard Music Center grounds only when checkout and the drive home leave enough time.
